This super romantic Lissanoure Castle wedding has finally hit the blog! Although I’ve been teasing about it on my Instagram, you just have to see the full gallery - it's a mix of documentary wedding photography, romantic, airy images, candid family shots and beautiful wedding portraits at a stunning Irish Castle. It's a great combination of traditional Irish wedding and a modern approach to it - an old venue but a super relaxed couple up for anything. The kind of weddings I love to photograph!Read More
2018 was an amazing year for Hello Sugar & my personal life. I photographed 20 stunning weddings, travelled, laughed, made new friends, organised some stunning editorials, photographed multiple engagements, upgraded gear, worked hard on each and every task I set my mind to. Here’s a scrumptious slideshow that sums it all up - all the highs, moments & mountains, romantic weddings, all of my couples, travels, tears and all the beauty. A happy slideshow, which I’m looking forward to watching again by the end of 2019 to see the amazing way my style and skills have come through.Read More
Melissa & Stephen got married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Dark Hedges Estate, which is located right next to the famous tourist attraction ‘Dark Hedges’. I loved the idea of incorporating their personalities and lifestyle into the wedding day - they opted for an outdoor ceremony with fresh bale’s of hay as a seating, long dinner tables and lush flowers. I love Northern Irish farmer’s weddings! If you remember my last year’s farmer’s wedding of Amanda & Chris you will remember that it’s always a super relaxed wedding day, with no fuss, no stress and plenty of fun. I promise you, they are all like this! Absolutely loved the natural country decor and clean, modern & airy feel of this wedding.Read More
Golden hour light looks magical in any place whether it’s a wedding in the Irish countryside or in Morocco. It’s often called ‘magic hour’ because of its ability to create stunning portraits and makes a whole lot of difference to any images. It’s when the light is the softest, the most flattering and the most romantic and super easy to work with.Read More

For the past 3 years, I have been pretty committed to exploring Northern Ireland and it's raw coastline, forests and hidden gems, but I somehow managed to miss Islandmagee. It just never occurred to me it exists. It was a total blind spot until I heard about Rob's Heart & Soul workshop from my friends Sheena & Christin. They were raving about the workshop itself, the energy and fuel it gives, about the couples they were photographing and the location.
Fast forward to late May when I attend it, not only learned a thing or two about having a wedding photography business in Northern Ireland (and destination in my case!:)) but most of all met some amazing people. The couple that we were photographing on the island, Charlotte and Michael, are getting married in July and I'm more than sure they will make a wonderful bride and groom. I'm a huge fan of natural, sweet and candid photography focusing on the couple and their loved ones, and I always express how important it is to have your pre-wedding shoot. Not only because it's a great chance to bond a bit with your photographer, but also because on your wedding day you can focus on the moment, on being present and not on the fact that you are being photographed.
Islandmagee will be definitely joining my list of places to elope in Northern Ireland and I'm just delighted I was able to attend the workshop and make some new friends. Keep your eyes peeled for more of Charlotte and Michael, as they have agreed to help me with the secret project I'm planning for August.Read More
