This was a dream of a wedding! The stunning backdrop of this idyllic castle, emotional outdoor ceremony and fabulous reception full of music, food and Aperol! A real joy to witness this big day, which took months to plan and prepare, as couples families flew from Australia. Planning a wedding in France is a challenge, especially if you live in another country and your guests will fly from every part of the world. The couple got married at Chateau Soutard, St Emillion’s most beautiful castle surrounded by vineyards and ruins of the ancient churches. Not far from Bordeaux, this area is full of dazzling French castles and stunning natural landscape. It’s a perfect location for your destination wedding in France, as you will have easy access to the airport, easy routes to the venues, lots of hotel options for your guests. and endless photo opportunities.

Utterly Beautiful Château De Roussan Elopement Inspiration / Provence Wedding Photographer, Destination Wedding Photographer France
I'm so happy to be able to finally show you this creative elopement inspiration I photographed in April in the South of France. It has always been a big goal of mine to photograph a Destination Wedding in France and I truly couldn't have better clients and suppliers to work with. Lucy and Hayden are the sweetest coupe a photographer could ask for, an amazing team of vendors making all our ideas possible and a very private, romantic Château De Roussan. Every corner of this amazing, hidden provençal gem was photo-worthy, starting from the front entrance, long driveway, pool, garden and all the greenery around. Everything provided a stunning backdrop for our beautiful destination couple. We wanted this shoot to feel more like a luxury elopement at the French Château and give some ideas of how you can incorporate pastel pink, grey and Provence into your own wedding. I'm so excited for my upcoming destination weddings and I'm hoping to be back photographing a destination wedding in Provence soon!

I feel like I say this every time! :D But it is so true, my absolute photography guru Nadia Meli said once, that there is 'food for the table and food for the soul' and I resonate with this every day. This shoot was a dream come true, a food for the soul and just to think about the wonderful time we've had makes me all warm and fuzzy.
