Well, you are in luck because that's exactly how I photograph weddings. No over-posing, no turning the day into a production. I will not ask you to whisper rude things into each others ears! I'm just as weirded out about all the traditional cringe wedding photos as you.
I’m based in Belfast and work across Ireland, the UK and throughout Europe. For nearly 10 years I have been photograpphing weddings full time and I consider this to be the second best job on the planet. First being the people who bring your pets to the wedding of course!
There's so much energy on the wedding day.
So much of it is joyful, like walikng down the asile freshly married, some is chaotic, like the mayhem your small nieces and nephews will cause, some of it is very sad, because not all your loved ones can be there to withess you say I do. All of these have a place at your wedding and I welcome them all.
Your wedding is your legacy not bound to technology. You are not gonna be able to play that reel on anything in 15 years, but a quality wedding album will last nearly 300 years. Your wedding is the archive of your family.
Outside of weddings, I’m usually travelling, finding a great place to eat (anywhere from street food to Michelin), or at home with my cat Clint (diva traversed the streets of Belfast to find me) and bunny Parsley (diva is 10yo!!!). I am an avid gardener, reader, baker and runner - basically everything a childless millenial woman gets up to.
